Dear Sir Knights,

I hope and wish that you are healthy and safe.

This coming December marks the sixth anniversary of the founding of the Province of Greece under the Grand Council of Knights Masons. It is a special honour for me to have been appointed all these years by The M. E. Great Chief, Most Excellent Sir Knight Bernard V. A. Woods, as Provincial Grand Superintendent.

On October 7, 2020, and on the occasion of my impending reappointment on October 24, 2020, the day on which the new appointments are announced by the M. E. Great Chief, I asked to retire, considering that it is a suitable time for the administration of the Province to change. I recommended to the M. E. Great Chief, that R. E. Sir Kt  Dimitris Mamas, Provincial Deputy Grand Superintendent may become the next Provincial Grand Superintendent. The decision is the exclusive prerogative of the Great Chief.

As this duty comes to an end today, I would like to thank all of you for your support to the Order, all these years and to emphasize that I will continue to participate in the meetings of the Councils and the Province.

I hope and wish that you will continue to support Knight Masonry even more, as this is more essential in a period particularly difficult for all of us. The Rituals of the Order guide us properly:

Αγαπητοί Ευγ Ιππ,

Ελπίζω κι εύχομαι να είστε υγιείς και ασφαλείς.

Ηδη φέτος τον Δεκέμβριο συμπληρώνονται έξη χρόνια από τον καιρό που ιδρύθηκε η Επαρχία Ελλάδος του Μεγάλου Συμβουλίου Ιπποτών Τεκτόνων. Αποτελεί δε ιδιαίτερη τιμή για μένα να έχω διορισθεί όλα αυτά τα χρόνια από τον Εξχτ. Μέγα Αρχηγό Εξχτ. Ευγ Ιππ BernardV.A. Woodsως Μέγας Προβλεπτής.

Την 7^η Οκτωβρίου 2020 και με αφορμή τον επικείμενο επαναδιορισμό μου κατά την 24^η Οκτωβρίου 2020, ημέρα κατά την οποία ανακοινώνονται οι νέοι διορισμοί από τον Μέγα Αρχηγό, ζήτησα να μην συνεχίσω, εκτιμώντας ότι η διοίκηση της Επαρχίας είναι καιρός να αλλάξει. Συνέστησα δε στον Μέγα Αρχηγό, τον Πεξχ Ευγ Ιππ Δημήτρη Μάμα, Επαρχιακό Αναπληρωτή Μέγα Προβλεπτή ως τον επόμενο Μέγα Προβλεπτή. Η απόφαση επιλογής αποτελεί αποκλειστικό προνόμιο του Μεγάλου Αρχηγού.

Καθώς το καθήκον αυτό, σήμερα φθάνει στο τέλος του, επιθυμώ να ευχαριστήσω όλους σας για την στήριξη προς το Τάγμα, όλα αυτά τα χρόνια και να τονίσω ότι θα συνεχίσω να συμμετέχω στις συνεδριάσεις των Συμβουλίων και των οργάνων της Επαρχίας.

Ελπίζω κι εύχομαι να συνεχίσετε να στηρίζετε περισσότερο πλέον την Ιπποτική Τεκτονική, καθώς το έχει περισσότερο ανάγκη, σε μιά περίοδο ιδιαίτερα δύσκολη γιά όλους μας και το Τυπικό του Τάγματος μας καθοδηγεί κατάλληλα.

«Στον βαθμό του Ιππότου του Ξίφους, παρουσία του Βασιλιά Κύρου, μας επεδείχθη το πιο εξαιρετικό παράδειγμα Τεκτονικής Αφοσιώσεως. Στον βαθμό του Ιππότου της Ανατολής επιδεικνύονται πίστις και θάρρος. Χρειαζόταν μεγάλο θάρρος για να διακηρύξει κανείς στους συγκεντρωμένους αυλικούς του Βασιλιά Δαρείου, του πιο ισχυρού Βασιλιά που γνώρισε ποτέ η Περσία, ότι υπήρχε κάτι σπουδαιότερο από τον Βασιλιά τους. Στον βαθμό του Ιππότου της Ανατολής και της Δύσεως η αφοσίωση, η πίστη και το θάρρος του Ζωροβάβελ τελικά ανταμείβονται, όπως πιστεύομε ότι πάντα πρέπει να γίνεται για τις αρετές αυτές.»

Είθε ο Μέγας Δημιουργός του Σύμπαντος να προστατεύει εσάς και τις οικογένειές σας.
